California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
The California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) is an $8.5B grant funding agency created by the people of California to accelerate world class science to delivery transformative regenerative medicine treatments in an equitable manner to a diverse California and world. CIRM has funded over 1300 projects to accelerate stem cell and genetic research as well as translational and clinical development of regenerative medicine therapies including 90 clinical trials and over 190 currently active therapeutic development programs.
