Texcell-North America, Inc. is a global contract research organization based in the Maryland/Virginia biotech corridor specializing in custom cell culture, virus propagation, virus concentration, viral clearance services, and viral safety testing in support of biopharmaceutical applications submitted to the FDA and other regulatory authorities.
We specialize in in vitro and in vivo assays to characterize cell and gene therapy products for safety, sterility, purity, identity, and potency, as well as viral safety testing for gene therapies derived from mammalian cells.
In January, we broke ground on our second facility in Maryland which will add 27,000 square feet of laboratory and office space, more than doubling our capacity for biosafety testing and viral clearance studies. A truly global CRO, we also have locations in France, Germany, China, Taiwan, and Japan.
