Rejuvenation Technologies, Inc. is a seed-stage longevity startup that is focusing on safely elongating telomeres with its proprietary technology. When telomeres get too short, cells become senescent and give off apoptosis markers to avoid mutations, which drive disease and aging itself. The technology uses an optimized In vivo delivery system to safely and transiently deliver TERT mRNA to cells and thus elongate the telomeres of a cell's chromosomes by ~500 base pairs. The elongation period halts after 24 hours and the cells maintain their original profile.
